I just found you here, and I LOVE your strip. Please put up a dedicated site, not just a blog, where they're all archived, and where you sell the T-shirts, etc.

Regarding Popeye style, long-form stories, YES! I'm excited.

Regarding the T-shirt designs I see here, well ... I think maybe you should only EVER be allowed to draw them under 2 inches. The line weight, the funny shapes, and the perfect simplicity of style are all facilitated by the teeny drawings. Drawing them big takes away the zazz.

Hey Chris! Welcome!
I haven't the foggiest idea how I would go about putting together a web site. I'm barely able to handle a blog! If anyone out there knows how I'd go about this in a simple and clear manner, please let me know!
Thanks for the input on the t-shirts. I've experimented a lot with some ideas that I haven't even shared here, and I've discovered that your way is the right way.
THanks! and Welcome!

This is amazing stuff. Thosee attitudes on the wolf in the last strip, the great design of the ultra-hot waitress....Very nice! Keep it up! Can't wait to fork over $20 for the book (but only if it's that same 2 x 8 size).

That would be funny, if the book was 2 inches high by 8 inches wide, and like 3 inches thick. Like a Pantone color chart thing or something.

Regarding putting a web site together, that's what computer geeks and teenagers are for. Find someone under 20 to do it for you, or hire a friend or a web design company.

Wow I didn't see this coming. I was waiting for some more ass woopin'. Funny turn. I laughed in the first panel and the last where Phil is unconscious. Jack and Coke...Artie reference? You need a Symbian one too! hahaha

Do you have the girl's number? Hubba!

(... oh! and the strip is great... such funny drawing!)

...and put me down for a t-shirt!

Thanks everyone! Hey, skribbl, I'm referencing both Artie and Lemmy form Motorhead, who's favorite drink is the Jack and coke.
Hey Knife!!! The t-shirts are coming! I'm close to a design I like so stay tuned!!!
And a huge welcome to Dc who has a really cool blog himself!
As to the book, I was thinking I'd put 2 strips on a page and make it the size of a Garfield book. Is that okay?

Garfield-sized, eh? --Say, why don't you do some strips about how Chippy loves lasagna but can't do Mondays.

mark kennedy said...

Okay, the book can be Garfield-sized, but only if Lupus can be skull-fucking Garfield on the cover. Sorry, them's the rules.

"skribble skribble" Loopus...Garfield,...skullfucking...
Sounds reasonable to me.

...and Loopus is always drooling with googly eyes... Chippy is sassy!...Could be funnier than Marmaduke...could be.
