Today's Strip: Pretty Please?

Okay, I admit it. Today's strip is not exactly 2"x8". I added about an inch on the end because I needed that panel where Chippy glares at Andy. Never underestimate the importance of the "silent" panel.
Now, an open statement to the good people who make Flash: Do you hate artists? What is the matter with you? Why can't you make a program that is as easy to use as Photoshop? What possessed you to make the brush tool absolutely useless? Do you hate cartoonists THAT much?
End statement.

The extra panel to include the stare was definitely worth it. Reminded me of the one Bugs used to give in the old days when he was mad and ready to fight.

Hey, I designed Flash in my spare time! That's the best i could do!

Kidding, that's too bad that Flash sucks.

Great drawings. The drawing of the pissed-off Panda is perfect.

Thanks guys!!!
Paul, anytimme is a good time for a meatball sub!
You're right Lyndon, most of what I know about timing and pacing comes from old cartoons directed by Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, Tex Avery, and of course the Tom and Jerry cartoons directed by Hanna and Barbera.
John Kricfalusi is not overstating his point when he says that these were the pinnacle of animation and that every cartoonist should study them for staging, acting, and solid drawing.
Mark!! I'll get you for that FLash. You just wait.
and thanks for the compiment!
Your blog continues to RULE!!

Bah... MA is lousy with delis. You can't go 4 yards without tripping over one... or a Dunkin Doughnuts.

What I wouldn't give for one decent Mexican place! Now Mexican food... that's manna from Heaven!

Keep up the good work, Robo!

Yup, that stare frame works great! (hilarious)

What's your issue with the brush tool in Flash? Sometimes it makes ugly lines on me...

Dear Robo,

Fuck you.

Love,
Flash

Name anything that you do with Flash and I can't seem to do it. That fucking brush tool ALWAYS makes ugly lines for me. I've tried using the shape tool the way I have with photoshop, but that's all jacked up too.
Flash, you are an evil trickster!
